According to China’s traditional “Compendium of Materia Medica” and “Lingnan Herbal Medicine Book”, Camellia was native to China with a history of over 3,000 years.   Widely known for its amazing power in beauty, Camellia has been a tribute paid to China’s royal courts of every generation. 

 

Camellia Oil is exceptionally rich in omega 9 monounsaturated fatty acid content (80%-88% in Camellia Oil vs 70-77% in Olive Oil) whose molecular composition is almost identical to human skin, allowing it to be aborbed quickly and form essential building blocks of skin’s surface layers which keep human skin hydrated. 

 

Its carotenoids, polyphenols and vitamin E serve as natural antioxidants whose antioxidant properties are equal to sesame seed oil.
